You Have Found The House Of Your Dreams, But Can You Afford It?

Before you waste time and become frustrated, call us and find out how much you can afford. We would need to know your income, your outstanding debts, and your credit history.

Are You Sure About Your Credit?

Always take a look at your credit report before you apply for a mortgage. Know the score! There might be mistakes and issues that have to be addressed. For example, you might have closed out a credit card 3 years ago, and it is still showing on your report with a balance outstanding.

Do You Have The Downpayment?

If you have part of your downpayment in cash, be sure to have this money deposited into your bank account 90 days before you apply for the mortgage. With an increase in money-laundering, terrorism-funding and illegal arms purchasing, financial institutions are suspicious about cash transactions. In addition, make sure you have some extra money for the closing costs. An adequate amount would be 2% of the purchase price of the house.

Can You Borrow The Money For The Downpayment?

Yes! As long as you disclose the facts to the lender, and that you have the income to service the loan, it’s okay.
